Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to take a painting “On Approval”?

Taking a painting on approval means that you get to take it home and try before you buy! This is a cost-free service: we just require a credit card on file and your contact information before you take the painting home. We typically allow clients to keep artworks on approval for around 48 hours.

Can I return my art once I have purchased it?

All of our sales are final, which is why we recommend trying paintings on approval if you feel hesitant!

How does shipping work?

We safely pack our artworks in-house and ship them all across the USA via Fedex Ground. The price of shipping is determined by the size of the artwork. For paintings that are 48x36 inches and above, or artworks with a fragile frame, we use an art-handler service that directly delivers your artwork to you.

Do you resell artwork?

No, we do not accept any artworks for resale. We only work with work artists that we have a direct, established relationship with.

What do the measurements on the website mean?

The sizes on our website are shown as Height x Width and are measured in inches. For example, if an artwork measures 40x30, that means it is a vertical painting measuring 40 inches tall and 30 inches wide.

I have a question. What is the best way to get in touch?

By emailing us at team@greggirbygallery.com!

Do you offer in-house framing?

No, we do not offer any framing services. Fine art framing is such a meticulous process, so we prefer to leave it up to the experts! If you are looking for framers local to Atlanta, we recommend Antonio Raimo, Mayott Studios, The Framers at Peachtree Battle, and Framebridge.
